The garden is shared space. There are sitting areas for guests. Flowers, herbs and salad makings (raspberries & strawberries as well in season) are there for guests’ enjoyment. At low tide there is a long white sandy beach for swimming, sunbathing and for kids to play. Find sand dollars and starfish, dig clams, gather oysters, or go fishing! This is truly a spectacular spot for a family with children or people that love the beach! Sunrise, moonrise – Our waterfront accommodation has spectacular views and many couples enjoy this romantic getaway. This accommodation is private and quiet yet proximate to amenities and Hague Lake for fresh water swimming.
Our vacation rental is called the Boathouse as it was originally intended to store boats and be temporary living space while the ‘real’ house was built up by the garden. Falling in love with the ever changing view, sunrise, moonrise, eagles and otters, ducks of all kinds and cheering oyster catchers . . . the Boathouse became the charming waterfront home by the sea.
